Amanda & Anthony - Maternity Session

I had the honor of capturing Amanda & Anthony’s couple's maternity session. Starting out as high school sweethearts, their love for one another has remained strong and genuine throughout the years, and now they are starting their own family!

Amanda had asked me to photograph her maternity session early on in her pregnancy, so we were able to plan accordingly as her pregnancy progressed. Avid nature lovers, Amanda knew that an outdoor session would be their ideal setting. Planning early on was helpful, in case of inclement weather, we would have plenty of time to reschedule since summer weather can be incredibly fickle. During our consultation, Amanda shared some ideas of other maternity photos that she liked, so I wanted to provide her & Anthony with an outdoor location that gave off romantic summer vibes.

Amanda & Anthony knocked it out of the park with their session, having fun the whole time! Anthony even got into the game and puffed out his belly, as if he had been impregnated with a food baby, and practiced some maternity posing for himself, back to back with Amanda!

Always remember that no matter what type of portrait session you have, to have fun! Just shake out all of the tension and go with it! Cannot wait to meet Amanda & Anthony’s baby boy!
